THE GOOD NEIGHBOUR - 2018

Alone on an isolated farm, a young woman comes to term with her Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis while harbouring a fugitive from another world.

Written and directed by Jonathan Reid-Edwards - with producer Kate Tuck helping develop a deeply emotional story - The Good Neighbour draws the viewer into the mind and experiences of two utterly different characters who come to share a deep resonance. The lead roles are played with extraordinary depth and sensitivity by Fiona Hampton and George Taylor.

The film arose following writer/director Jonathan Reid-Edwards' personal journey with Crohn’s disease which inspired him to tell this intense story about another chronic illness with similar emotional entanglements - Multiple Sclerosis. Thanks to exceptional research by Fiona Hampton and the advice of MS sufferers who read the initial drafts, this is a film that will benefit anyone who has seen or experienced chronic illnesses in a loved one

This is a story that had to be told. In 2018, we tell it.
